Senior Estimator – Architectural & Structural Metalwork

Remuneration:
£55,000 - £60,000 + profit related bonus

The role of the Senior Estimator – Architectural & Structural Metalwork will involve: Dealing with a high-end range of architectural metalwork systems such as structural steel, balconies, balustrades, staircases, railings, glass systems, decking & sheet metalwork. Carrying out take-offs from drawings and measurements to produce bills of quantities/price schedules. Dealing with enquiries from various clients via phone calls and emails. Preparing and submitting accurate and detailed tenders within the timeframe provided. Following up all submitted tenders, receiving feedback from clients and updating records accordingly. Conducting handover meetings passing secured projects to our production team. Continuing to develop relationships with clients to secure further business. Liaising with colleagues to facilitate the progression of tenders and projects. Producing estimates for projects ranging from £1,000 to £3,000,000 in value. The ideal applicant will be: Must have 3+ years estimating experience within the structural or architectural metalwork market sector. Experience dealing with structural steel, balconies, balustrades, staircases, railings, glass systems, decking & sheet metalwork would be advantageous. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and industry standards. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. High attention to detail and excellent organisation skills. Driven, enthusiastic, comfortable working autonomously.
