Ideally, the right candidate will: Have 8 years plus PQE. Have experience in managing a high-performing team. Have extensive private family law experience. Have commercial awareness and understanding of the legal market. Have a friendly welcoming demeanour. Have existing litigation experience in matrimonial finance cases and/or private child law cases. Have good attention to detail and accuracy to address all concerns with your team and clients. Have excellent communication both in writing and verbally, so you can connect and communicate at all levels within the Firm and with our clients. Have a strong sense of professional responsibility and accountability. Have strong IT skills including Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word, and the ability to work in a paperless environment. Have a great sense of humour and enjoy working in family law. Be well organised and skilled at prioritising tasks. Be able to have performance/coaching conversations that support and add value. Be resilient when faced with setbacks and empower your team to be solution-led. Be able to deal with changes effectively. Be able to uphold the firm’s reputation by providing a first-class service. Be empathic and understanding. Be efficient in working methodically and have good organisational skills to prioritise tasks. Be resilient and committed, remaining composed, reassuring, and empowering under pressure. Be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and have the inspiration to achieve.
