Chapman Recruitment are looking for a Graduate Engineer/ Project manager to join an established company in the engineering sector, specializing in Automation, Electrical, and Mechanical projects. The company was established in 2003 and has a dynamic team that thrives on challenges and is looking to welcome a new graduate that is enthusiastic, and self-driven individual who is eager to develop and progress within the industry. Position Summary as a Graduate Project Engineer/ Manager: As an Engineer (Project Manager), you will play a crucial role in the development and execution of engineering projects. You will be responsible for the breakdown of systems into Work Packs, ensuring technical and quality compliance, and managing documentation. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including the Project Manager, Project Planner, and CAD Engineer, to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Key Responsibilities as a Graduate Project Engineer/ Manager: Collaborate on Work Packs, including layouts, specifications, and instructions. Good understanding of construction principles Knowledge on construction planning and programme management (Microsoft Project experience beneficial) Knowledge on project risk management and construction contracts. Knowledge on construction health and safety principles and processes Promote company business through excellent customer care and satisfaction. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies. Participate in system design, identifying and mitigating issues. Review project plans that have been created in CAD 3D modelling. Manage project documentation efficiently. Support project reporting and progress management. Be proactive in continuous improvement and knowledge transfer. Qualifications / Skills of Graduate Project Engineer/ Manager: Degree in construction/other relevant construction/ Project Management qualifications Strong knowledge of engineering processes, material handling equipment, steelwork design, mechanical installations, and electrical components. Excellent skills in Excel and electronic document management systems. Proficient in CAD software. Ability to gain an airside pass which would include a clear DBS and 5year referencing.
