Permanent Care Home Details: An amazing opportunity for a Deputy Manager to join one of our lovely homes. All our staff provide the highest level of care, everyone supports one another and are one big family. Every member of the team is affectionate and understanding to all Residents and their individual needs with the biggest hearts. Type of Service: Care Home – Privately Owned, Registered for a maximum of 40 Service Users. Key responsibilities of a Deputy Manager: Reporting to the Home Manager, you will lead a team of dedicated Senior and Care Assistants, motivating them to achieve our high standards of care and clinical excellence. Through regular audits of our person-centred care plans, you will ensure the delivery of that care is accurately recorded and that all relevant documentation is always up to date. You will get to know every resident within our care setting and their requirements. An open communication style is essential in this role along with the ability to implement action plans for improvement and to build a reputation of high quality delivery for the community. You will support the safe delivery of medications through the EMAR system and undertake regular audits to ensure compliance. You will also support the Home Manager in a number of business areas, developing your skills to ensure competent management in the Manager’s absence. Other Duties: Maintain confidentiality to all residents and clients at all times. To ensure that the registered manager and where appropriate Operations Director and/or Group Quality Director are fully informed about the daily running of the home and specific needs. Be available outside of normal working hours for emergencies in the absence of the registered manager. Travel as required within the area and other areas within the company for business and training. This list is not exhaustive, and you may need to carry out other duties within the remit of the role. Job Types:
