We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Governance Coordinator to support in the coordination and delivery of the Governance, Quality and Patient Safety Framework across the Family Health Care Group. The post holder will work with the Maternity Quality and Patient Safety Team to develop, monitor and maintain processes to ensure assurance can be provided for all areas of clinical governance, which will include clinical effectiveness, quality improvement, patient safety and risk management. The post is a cross-site post with a base at either York or Scarborough Hospital. We have 2 positions available. Main duties of the job

The post holder will play an active role in the day-to-day management of Datix and will support the team with the incident review processes as well as provide data and themes for assurance reporting. Excellent IT skills and the ability to manage complex data processes, along with the management of all systems, databases and action logs will be essential skills for the post holder to have. Other core duties will be supporting the preparation of agendas for key meetings, ensuring actions are captured and followed up, supporting the complaints management process, and oversight of the audit programme. Education and qualifications

Educated to diploma/degree level or equivalent experience Experience and Knowledge

Experience of using and managing systems such as Datix Experience of analysing data and presenting in a user-friendly format Experience of data collection Experience of audit Skills and Attributes

Ability to deal with and manage complex and difficult situations Able to work autonomously and as part of a team Ability to work on own initiative and meet deadlines Good understanding of the NHS governance agenda Personal Qualities and Values
