Dental Hygienist

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. This role is essential in promoting oral health and educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices. The ideal candidate will be able to provide direct access care for patients when required; however, this is not essential. This role will be part-time on a Monday and Wednesday. Duties Conduct thorough dental cleanings to improve dental health. Work in collaboration with the dental team to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs. Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations. Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment plans. Stay updated with the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technology. Qualifications Valid Dental Hygienist licence or equivalent certification. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health. Proficiency in using medical imaging equipment and CAD software is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain procedures clearly to patients. Attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Ability to work effectively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
