A person who works to high standards, tight timelines and is comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders at all levels providing intelligence and insight. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and skilled individual to join the NW London ICB performance and planning team. The performance & planning team work closely with colleagues across the ICS to effectively understand performance (ICS objectives, strategy & programme deliverables) and support evidence-based improvements across providers. Main duties of the job

Working with the Head of Performance & Planning, support the implementation and management of the NWL System Oversight Framework across NW London NHS providers (acute, community, mental health, primary care and LAS).

Ensure the effective management and the development of system oversight meetings in NWL. This will include: Effective administration, including a yearly meeting schedule agreed with executive teams (ICB and provider) and timely high-quality papers. This will include agendas, key areas of focus, provider packs, chairs briefs and minutes. Ensure resources of the team are allocated effectively to support system oversight meetings. Development of performance information across NWL providers to improve the identification of relevant key lines of enquiry. This will include working with senior stakeholders from across finance, workforce and quality and borough directors. Maintain and develop effective working relationships with system oversight leads across providers, programmes and wider teams. Produce regular updates that provide an overview of assurance, mitigation and actions to the ICB executive. The position will be responsible to the Head of Performance and Planning and accountable to the Assistant Director Planning and Performance. Knowledge, Training and Experience

Educated to masters level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in specialist area. Performance, transformation and/or assurance. Developing reports for Directors. Analysis and triangulating health care data sets and intelligence to form conclusions. Line management of staff. In depth understanding of healthcare. Communication Skills

Must be able to provide and receive highly complex, sensitive or contentious information issues, and present complex and sensitive information to large and influential groups, negotiate with senior stakeholders on difficult and controversial issues. Analytical

Problem-solving skills and ability to respond to sudden unexpected demands. Ability to analyse complex facts and situations and develop a range of options. Takes decisions on difficult and contentious issues where there may be a number of courses of action. Strategic thinking – ability to anticipate and resolve problems before they arise. Planning Skills

Demonstrated capability to plan over short, medium and long-term timeframes and adjust plans and resource requirements accordingly. Comprehensive experience of project principles techniques and tools such as Prince 2 and Managing Successful Projects. Management Skills

Must be able to prioritise own work effectively and be able to direct activities of others. Experience of managing and motivating a team and reviewing performance of the individuals. Physical Skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with intermediate keyboard skills.
