CRS Ltd are currently assisting our renewables client in sourcing a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design Engineer to join the dynamic team at the offices based in Lancaster. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical design and system engineering, demonstrating proficiency in various design software and methodologies. This role is pivotal in driving innovative solutions and ensuring the successful execution of engineering projects from conception through to completion. Our ideal candidate will have working knowledge of hydraulic systems and knowledge of metals, alloys and phosphorous. Key Skills

Business Performance Management Decision Making Interpersonal Skills Leadership People Performance Management Duties for Senior Design Engineer include:

Lead the development of concept and existing products as Product Champion. Support sales and project management with design activities associated with sales enquiries and works orders. The use of Autodesk suite of design tools. Perform finite element analysis through computer simulation. Produce detail engineering and assembly drawings for manufacturing, testing and verification and conformance of design outputs to meet design inputs and oversee testing. Work with customers and suppliers and attend client meetings and trade shows representing the Company. Preferred Experience for Senior Design Engineer:

Minimum of HND in Mechanical Engineering. At least 5 years design engineering experience. Mathcad and Autodesk software proficient. OrcaFlex (cable and preferably cable protection system experience).
