The Role The role of eCommerce Operations Manager involves setting up and managing a Shopify store, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for both international and domestic customers. Key Responsibilities of this eCommerce Operations Manager: Create and manage the Shopify eCommerce site, ensuring a user-friendly and visually appealing layout. Optimise the store for international and domestic customers, considering language, currency, and shipping options. Set up and manage fulfilment processes, ensuring timely and accurate order processing. Implement warehouse and stock holding systems to maintain optimal inventory levels. Oversee the warehouse management system (WMS) and ensure efficient operations. Utilise PluginHive solutions (or similar) for multi-carrier shipping integration, ensuring efficient and cost-effective order fulfilment. Implement and manage Klaviyo (or similar technology) for email marketing campaigns, customer segmentation, and automation. Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to drive traffic and sales. Research and identify the best fulfilment partners for different regions, considering cost, reliability, and speed. Ensure all technical integrations are functioning correctly and efficiently. Monitor and analyse customer feedback to improve the shopping experience. Implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. Provide regular reports on sales, traffic, and other relevant metrics. Create all social media posts and deliver on the content strategy. Requirements for this eCommerce Operations Manager: Ideally have 1 year plus experience as a Digital or eCommerce Operations Manager or above in the beauty or fashion space. Open to a 12-month contract role. Proven experience in managing Shopify eCommerce stores. Keen to work in a founder-led business and the initial startup stage. Able to recommend and implement the right plugins for business (fulfilment, WMS, digital marketing, etc.). Business has growth opportunities and is part of a wider business regarding funding. Really wants someone hands-on and to drive a strategy for the business. Experience with digital marketing tools, for example, Klaviyo. Familiarity with international shipping and logistics solutions like Global-e and PluginHive.
