Your new company A well-established, independent organisation based in Portsmouth, with over 30 years of local history, specialising in delivering high-quality development projects across multiple sectors. They are highly innovative, with a fantastic local reputation. The finance team is growing as they aim to maintain the dynamism that helped them become a local market leader. A Finance Manager is required on a permanent basis, paying up to £60,000 pa. Your new role Reporting to a progressive MD and leading your own finance team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of: Producing and managing budgets Costing reports and analysis Overseeing payroll and general cash management Controlling and overseeing the customer payment process Preparing and reviewing financial statements Monitoring key performance indicators and financial trends Developing and maintaining internal controls to ensure compliance Managing liquidity and cash flow Ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements Collaborating with project managers to ensure financial success of projects Handling vendor payments and accounts receivable collections What you'll need to succeed We are seeking a forward-thinking and efficient individual with proven experience within the construction industry. Preferred software experience is Evolution, though it is not essential. As Finance Manager, you will hold a strong understanding of both CIS and VAT. Relevant essential qualifications include ACA and CIMA.
