Strategic Sourcing Manager Hemel Hempstead (Hybrid), 3 days a week in office Annual salary + bonus and benefits The Strategic Sourcing Manager is a brand-new role for Haven, providing support and leadership across the business and key spend areas in Haven. This is a hands-on role for an experienced Procurement professional with experience in Professional Services or Property, leveraging both your technical skills and your stakeholder management and engagement skills. The Strategic Sourcing Manager will develop and deliver strategic sourcing strategies, in line with business strategies in order to deliver maximum value from spend while maintaining service, innovation and quality. Your Opportunity:

To learn, develop and become an expert in a key area of the business by: Working collaboratively with Budget holders across the business to identify opportunities to create additional value Working with stakeholders to determine the business need/specification and develop appropriate sourcing strategies to maximise value Developing and owning Haven’s Strategic sourcing plans and working with stakeholders to build an ongoing program of sourcing work across the business Overseeing the sourcing and contract process – including RFP, Tender, Negotiations, Contracting Supporting the Head of Procurement Operations in ensuring high commercial standards are reflected in the Procurement “platform” across Haven. What we’d like you to bring:

Broad sourcing knowledge, preferably in Hospitality and Hotel Management settings Experience in either Professional Services or Property procurement Comprehensive, proactive stakeholder management and engagement skills Confident communication and presentation skills An in-depth understanding of category management and how to promote the procurement strategy across the business Deep experience of negotiation and supplier management, including conducting complex commercial negotiations The ability to derive clarity from ambiguity and competing priorities A full driving licence, the role will require travel What’s In It For You?
