While specific responsibilities will be dependent upon the changing needs of the Tesco business, the following provides an overview of the role’s key responsibilities: Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering, and User Experience (UX) teams in the Customer Support area to identify their data needs, and translate business challenges into analyses Understand how customers and colleagues are using our digital products to make recommendations Participate in setting objectives for the teams you support and measure these Perform deep-dive analyses using a variety of data sources and tools (SQL, Python, Adobe Analytics), and communicate findings and opportunities to product teams Create, maintain, and automate dashboards using visualisation tools (Tableau). Create ad-hoc data visualisations and present to stakeholders Learn new analytics techniques and tools and put these skills into practice. You’ll need to be able to demonstrate experience of: Working effectively with people of different backgrounds and data literacy Analysing data and generating insights to tell a story with commercial awareness, ideally for digital analytics Knowledge in Adobe / Google Analytics and/or SQL Relevant experience in a quantitative discipline, or a similar university degree of 2:1 Personal Being a self-starter; motivated to deliver high quality work through planning and adapting to change Actively seeking better ways of doing things, intellectually curious to develop and learn About us
