HR Officer Permanent 37.5 hours a week Range 4 £24,645 - £27,202 - you will be appointed on a fixed salary point within the range. The role of the HR Officer is to support the HR team in the delivery of an effective, customer-focused and professional HR service to the organisation. You will be part of a team that provides HR support and advisory service to the whole range of services within Care Plus Group. Every day is different as you will manage and prioritise a varied range of duties including all aspects of employee relations work (i.e. discipline, grievance, sickness absence), recruitment and selection, payroll and general advice, guidance and support to staff and managers. You will work independently; however, support and guidance is readily available from within the team. The role provides an excellent opportunity for those who are interested in all elements of the HR role. You must be customer-focused and have the ability to provide general advice and guidance on employment-related matters, as well as having experience of using Microsoft Office applications and the ability to produce reports and extract data. It is essential that you have the ability to present views clearly and logically both verbally and in writing, have knowledge of employment law, conditions of service and best practice and their interpretation and application, and have effective communication and IT skills.
