We are seeking a passionate and experienced Social Worker to join our clients team at their residential family centre. This is a unique opportunity to combine direct work with families (primarily mothers and newborns) with management responsibilities.
What You'll Do:
Conduct comprehensive assessments of parenting capacity, using a trauma-informed approach.
Build strong relationships with families to understand their needs and challenges.
Develop and implement direct work plans to support family progress.
Supervise a small team and provide ongoing support.
Contribute to service improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Who You Are: Qualified Social Worker with a minimum of 1 year experience. Strong understanding of safeguarding children. Excellent analytical and communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to see the potential in people and work with a trauma-informed approach. Team player with a sense of humor. Confident in having difficult conversations. Proficient in IT skills and adaptable to new systems. Understanding of babies and child development. Commitment to working in line with regulations and National Minimum Standards.
