Ardeta Search is partnering with a leading NHS Organisation to recruit a Head of Finance on a 6 Month Contract Basis. This critical role focuses on leading financial commissioning operations, and ensuring efficient resource allocation and financial performance. Key Responsibilities

Lead the management of provider activity and agreements, including Long Term Agreements, high-cost exclusions, and non-contracted activity. Oversee financial commissioning processes and collaborate with Joint Commissioning Committees, Local Health Boards, and other commissioning bodies. Provide leadership in negotiating and managing Healthcare Agreements for specialist services. Develop and maintain systems to monitor activity and financial performance, identifying trends and potential risks to financial forecasts. Develop effective risk management protocols for the Healthcare Agreement to ensure income recovery for increased pressures during the financial year and that agreements are reflective of service changes and actual performance. Establish risk management protocols for Healthcare Agreements to support income recovery and ensure agreements are adaptive to service changes and actual performance. Research and develop new commissioning frameworks for high-cost services to ensure responsiveness to cost behaviours associated with changes in case mix and patient complexity. Skills:

ACCA, ACA or CIMA Qualified. Extensive NHS finance experience at a senior management level, including specialist knowledge of NHS commissioning processes and systems. Strong leadership and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage complex financial agreements. Advanced analytical abilities to monitor and interpret activity and financial data effectively. This is an exciting role working with a brilliant NHS Organisation on a 6 Month basis with the opportunity to extend or go permanent in the future. Salary circa £65,000 - £75,000 + Benefits.
