Recruitment Consultant at Alexander Steele - Operations, Supply Chain + Engineering
Alexander Steele are working in partnership with an established multi-site food manufacturing business which is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Planner/Executive within the materials team. Key Responsibilities Placing orders for packaging materials from a well-established network of supply partners. Reviewing packaging requirements in line with the Supply & Demand Plan and packaging forecasts. Managing packaging stock levels across various business locations, coordinating with packing centre teams and transport to ensure materials are in the right place at the right time. Proactively working with suppliers to guarantee deliveries are made on time and in full. Taking the lead on complaints and investigations with packaging suppliers, driving continuous improvement in supplier performance. Overseeing packaging run-outs and managing new product launches in collaboration with suppliers and internal project teams. Supporting ad hoc requests for the packaging team and contributing actively to the Supply Chain team with a flexible, adaptable, and business-focused approach. On Offer A salary of £30,000 - £33,000, flexibility for an outstanding candidate. Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week - hybrid working. 33 days AL. Pension.
