An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Band 5 Physiotherapy Coastal/West Rotation at Sussex Community Foundation Trust (SCFT). Our Coastal/West Rotation encompasses Chichester, Bognor Regis, Worthing, Arundel and surrounding areas. Our Physiotherapy teams support people to live full and active lives within their family circles, social networks, and workplace. Main duties of the job

This supportive Band 5 Physiotherapy rotation aims to help you through the transition from student to skilled therapist and we welcome applications from candidates who are close to graduation or awaiting confirmation of HCPC registration post-graduation, in addition to those with some previous Band 5 experience. You will have a supervised caseload and a programme of continuing professional development to assist in your progression. The rotations enable newly qualified Physiotherapists to develop skills and competencies beyond graduate level in a variety of clinical specialties across inpatient, outpatient and community roles. Specialities available on this rotation include: Intermediate Care Units - Inpatient Rehabilitation Paediatrics Community Therapy Teams (You will need to be able to drive with a full UK licence for home visits) Hours of work for full time staff are 37.5hrs per week - primarily arranged according to service requirements, which may require a degree of flexibility depending on the service. Hours will primarily be within 07:30 and 20:00 with the potential to work the hours in different arrangements over the 7 days of the week. Rotations are 6 months in length and are based around our geographical areas. This job advert relates to our Coastal/West Rotation (Chichester, Arundel, Littlehampton, Bognor Regis, Worthing). We also run Band 5 Physiotherapy Rotations in our North and East areas, and offer a Trust-wide peer support/social network and encourage our Band 5 AHPs to get to know each other. If this is your first Band 5 post since graduating, you will be invited to take part in our preceptorship programme. The preceptorship is a structured scheme lasting 12 months, which aims: To successfully help new starters integrate into their new role To build confidence and competence To help you on your way to settling in well to your new career with SCFT To facilitate your journey to a fully autonomous practitioner The programme will include a variety of trainings, watched assessments, and opportunities to network and learn throughout your first year in employment. Qualifications & registration

Degree in physiotherapy or Equivalent Physiotherapy HCPC Registration Member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy Experience

Completed a Broad Range of student placements Evidence of practical Continued Professional Development Relevant postgraduate or undergraduate experience in the clinical field Skills & Knowledge

Good evidence of understanding of EBP Broad understanding of NHS/healthcare community Able to demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills Able to demonstrate a good level of clinical knowledge and reasoning Able to demonstrate good time management and prioritisation skills Good standard of English Own transport and current/valid driving licence Basic understanding of Audit/service improvement Other
