This role is both exciting and varied and your focus will be supporting projects and customer orders with your technical knowhow. Full training will be provided during the induction period. You’ll be working with a friendly, eager and committed team who appreciate a strong work ethic but still have a sense of humour. Key Duties/Responsibilities: Technical setup and configuration of smart and mobile vehicle camera technologies Supporting projects and product development via bench testing and commissioning systems Internal testing for software bugs and hardware faults Assisting managers to ensure that services and systems are operational and maintained to the highest level Accurately updating and inputting data onto databases and stock control systems Assisting with planning and installation of mobile CCTV equipment for customers and recording assets in accordance with policies and procedures Providing technical assistance and logging/completing support tickets through our Freshdesk IT ticketing system Creating wiring diagrams/schematics for engineering projects Assembling wiring harnesses Scheduling and booking engineering resources for projects Testing faulty electronic devices Assisting engineering activities both on and off site Opportunity for CAD work and training Completing/assisting tasks put forward by various departments Experience: An individual with warehousing and/or technical hardware experience would be ideal Candidate must have moderate to strong IT skills, with excellent organisational and administrative skills The ability to efficiently meet timelines and effectively manage orders is a must Experience of Vehicle CCTV, CCTV, Telematics, or vehicle related industries is advantageous but not essential Qualifications and Education: Ideally a degree or further education qualification in a technical, engineering, IT or business management related field A full UK driver’s licence would be preferred but not essential (preferably clean) Personal Qualities: Methodical approach to problem solving and ability to use own initiative Ability to communicate technical information clearly with non-technical staff and customers Enjoys challenging themselves and wanting to learn new skills and new technology Willing, where needed, to get involved with all aspects of the business Outgoing and extrovert, with a keen sense of teamwork Interested in vehicles/commercial vehicle market is advantageous but not essential Next step: By clicking ‘apply’ you will be taken to our application/assessment link where you can complete your application.
