£55,000-£60,000 plus package About Us: We are partnered with a dynamic and leading contractor specialising in commercial new build and fit-out projects. They pride theirselves on delivering exceptional M&E services across a wide range of projects, including Cat A and Cat B fit-outs. With a strong client base and an expanding portfolio, they are looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Project Manager to join our team and oversee the successful delivery of their mechanical installations. The Role: As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and delivering mechanical installation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. You will work closely with design, engineering, and site teams to manage all mechanical works from concept to handover. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage mechanical installation projects for commercial new build and Cat A/B fit-out works. Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and other related installations. Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery. Ensure compliance with all project specifications, industry standards, and health & safety regulations. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, ensure adherence to plans, and maintain quality control. Collaborate with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders to resolve technical queries and ensure client satisfaction. Control project budgets, monitor financial performance, and provide regular progress reports. Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring project milestones are achieved. Oversee commissioning and testing phases to ensure successful handover to clients. Provide technical support and guidance to site teams, troubleshooting issues as needed. Requirements: Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager, ideally within commercial new build and fit-out environments. In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection. Strong project management skills, with experience delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate site teams and subcontractors. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Knowledge of relevant building regulations and industry standards. SMSTS CSCS Relevant mechanical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HND/HNC, or equivalent). Please apply for more details!
