About the Role: IRD Consultancy are hiring a Deputy Manager to be based in Harrods. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the indispensable right hand to our Store Manager, pivotal to the flourishing success of our fine jewellery boutique. Your leadership will set the standard, driving exceptional sales, nurturing enduring client relationships, and cultivating a motivated and cohesive team environment. Primary Responsibilities: Act as Store Manager in their absence, maintaining company standards and managing operations. Lead the sales team, ensuring high customer service and sales performance. Achieve sales targets and manage the boutique to meet KPIs. Assist the Store Manager in enhancing sales performance through action plans. Monitor and improve boutique performance through weekly trade reports. Oversee store maintenance, safety, product assortment, and visual merchandising when the Store Manager is absent. Ensure excellent customer service for After Sales Service requests. Organise store rotations, shifts, and holidays for operational efficiency. Conduct in-store training and team briefings to enhance skills. Implement CRM strategies and build customer loyalty with the team. Help induct new team members for smooth integration. Assist with opening and closing procedures. Maintain uniform and grooming standards to uphold the boutique's luxury image. Support store administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations. About the Candidate: Proven experience in luxury retail, preferably within the fine jewellery industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with a diverse clientele. Strong sales acumen with a results-oriented approach to exceed targets. Natural leadership qualities to motivate and develop high-performing teams. Impeccable product knowledge including gemstones, precious metals, and jewellery trends. Organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure efficient operations. Discretion and integrity in handling valuable merchandise with professionalism. Proficiency in CRM techniques and tools to effectively manage customer relationships. Strong selling skills with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. The candidate should have 5-10 years of experience in jewellery and management.
