Randstad is partnering with outstanding schools in Horley to find enthusiastic individuals eager to develop both their personal skills and their students abilities. Our partner schools provide practical on-the-job training and ongoing support from a team of experienced staff. In this term-time role, you will have the chance to explore your passion for education by assisting students aged 4-11, contributing to their social, emotional, and academic growth. If you have experience working with children or a background in caregiving, a teaching assistant role might be the perfect next step for you. This is a contract position offering a long-term opportunity with full-time hours.

**Responsibilities:**
* Collaborate with teachers to work with groups of children. * Provide regular progress updates to the class teacher and maintain records. * Attend to childrens personal needs, including minor first aid, and offer guidance on pastoral, social health, physical hygiene, and welfare matters. * Engage with teachers, caregivers, and parents to monitor student development. * Support children on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to facilitate their learning. * Be a positive role model for students and staff.
**Requirements:**
* Experience working with children. * Genuine passion for working with children. * Grade C or above (or equivalent) in GCSE Maths and English. * Enhanced child DBS (we can assist if you dont already have one). * Classroom and behaviour management skills. * Patience to support pupils in understanding lessons and engaging in activities planned by the teacher. * Eligibility to work in the UK **(Sponsorship not provided).**
