The Role: We are seeking a Senior Manager EHSS to join our team at Kent Science Park facilities. As a key member of our environmental health and safety (EHSS) team, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing our EHSS management system, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting a culture of sustainability. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and develop our EHSS management system, ensuring it aligns with the Enterprise plan and objectives. Identify and report any gaps, concerns, or deviations in the EHSS remit to management. Develop and execute plans to close any gaps in the EHSS management system. Actively promote sustainability initiatives and collaborate with other site functions to achieve a better site footprint. Ensure staff engagement with EHSS across the organization and develop a strong culture through EHSS initiatives. Provide technical and managerial leadership and advice for Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security. Act as the company Health and Safety 'Competent Person'. Establish and maintain a system for consultations with employees on EHS matters. Manage risk assessments, audits, and inspections. Develop and implement effective EHSS systems to manage risks and hazards. Plan and prioritize work effectively in a rapidly changing environment. Requirements: >10 years' experience in similar roles in highly regulated industries sector (GxP, ISO management systems, ...) Strong Pharma and/or Chemical industries background Communication and teamworking skills Broad knowledge and strong evidence of application of UK Health and Safety legislation Good understanding of compliance and quality systems Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Package Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
