Able to drive strategic projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sustainable initiatives including waste management, energy efficiency, and renewable energy projects? This is an exciting opportunity at our Settle Dairy in North Yorkshire, the home of Arla Foods LactoFree and UHT products. How you will make an impact Identify and manage environmental risks and opportunities, and implement measures to reduce our carbon footprint, water usage, waste generation, and energy consumption. Deliver planned preventative maintenance programmes across complex equipment including steam & boiler, refrigeration, effluent treatment plant, hot & cold water systems, HVAC, cooling tower, air compressors, HV & LV systems. Engage with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive sustainability initiatives, including local community engagement and supplier sustainability assessments. Monitor and report on sustainability performance metrics, providing regular updates to site management and the wider Arla Foods sustainability team. Grow with Arla Recognised time served apprenticeship in a multiskilled engineering discipline with HNC/HND A positive and resilient approach to problem solving, team working, and continuous improvement, able to demonstrate logical thought processes and ways of working with an ability to follow detailed instructions. Safety focused approach, with a strong commercial ability to lead negotiations with third-party partners. Proven background across similar complex process environments including Food / Brewing / Pharmaceutical / Chemical. Experience utilising Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) – SAP Maintenance Module and SCADA visualisations.
