An exciting and growing international manufacturing SME is looking to appoint to this newly created role. Reporting to the MD and leading a small team they wish to recruit a qualifed accountant who has the ability to impact business performance in a good all-round accountancy role.
If you think this soiunds like you then this could be your next role! ABPM are seeking a a hands-on and engaged Accountant to hit the ground running to lead a team and collaborate with the MD in growing the business profitably.
Some of your responsibilities may include:
Oversee, support and develop the team.
Production of management accounts and sales analysis.
Manage departmental and business budget setting.
Cashflow management and forecasting.
Manage and control inventory
Financial accounts, month-end processes and reconciliations.
Provide financial analysis and guidance to support decision making.
Process monthly payroll and carry out anomaly reports.
Drive continuous improvements and best practice processes.
HMRC and VAT returns
Ad-hoc tasks as and when required.
You should have achieved or hold the abilities within:
Qualified Accountant
Manufacturing background (ideal but not essential).
