Are you a driven and experienced EC&I Manager looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are working with a leading advanced manufacturer in Northwich that is renowned for its innovative approach and commitment to sustainability. They are seeking an EC&I Manager who will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and safety of their cutting-edge production operations. The Role

In this hands-on leadership role, you will head a talented EC&I team responsible for maintaining, designing, and optimising key systems within a high-tech manufacturing facility. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to implement control technologies that enhance efficiency, support safety, and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop the EC&I team, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and high performance. Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of EC&I equipment and systems. Plan, budget, and execute electrical, control, and instrumentation projects. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including HSE and ATEX. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize plant efficiency and reduce operational costs. Collaborate across teams to align EC&I systems with production goals. Maintain EC&I documentation, procedures, and standards. Ideal Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in an EC&I role within a manufacturing or industrial setting; experience in the chemical industry is a plus. Expertise in electrical, control, and instrumentation systems with a strong safety and regulatory compliance focus. Familiarity with ATEX, DSEAR, HAZOP, and SIL standards. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a high-performing team. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
