As an SEO Specialist you’ll be supporting the delivery of deploying content marketing strategies to promote the Betway website, covering keyword research, keyword mapping and technical SEO best practice projects. What you’ll be doing As part of your role, your responsibilities will include: Delivering the strategy against KPIs set by the SEO Manager and country teams Identifying opportunities in the market to improve Betway’s organic growth – through off-page and on-page initiatives Deliver keyword research, keyword mapping and technical SEO best practice projects Maintain and optimise SEO landing pages as and when required Perform technical audits and advise on insights and implementation of technical improvements Spot key upcoming events and target them tactically with content updates, link building, etc. Work closely with the SEO Managers in scaling offsite strategy for your territories Use data to report on successes and re-focus strategy based on numbers Utilising Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and internal tools in helping to measure and drive commercial success This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Essential skills you’ll bring to the table The necessary skills that we require for this role include: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively Experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a focus on achieving shared goals Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering on time and within scope Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations Business level written and verbal English Determination to succeed and be the best Strong written communication skills Highly organised Attention to detail A diplomatic, collaborative and positive approach Must be able to multi-task and occasionally assist with wider SEO initiatives Candidate should have a genuine interest in SEO Experience in performing technical audits and recommending technical improvements based on insights derived from these analysis Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve It would be great if you also have some of the following skills: In-depth knowledge of sports betting markets, including odds calculation, betting types and market trends Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards Experience in developing and executing customer retention strategies Competent knowledge of a wide variety of sports Experience working with the press/journalists Track record of successful content promotion Knowledge of SEO software such as SEMrush, Majestic, Ahrefs etc. Proven hands-on SEO experience, covering content, on-site, outreach and tactical SEO strategies in competitive sectors A good understanding of SEO content skills Competitive verticals experience (iGaming, Finance, Health & Pharmaceutical) Our values are non-negotiables Our culture is underpinned by core values that are linked to key behavioural competencies.
