Are you a passionate and experienced Podiatrist with a proven track record in leadership? We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to take on the role of Lead Podiatrist within our clients team in Falmouth. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our podiatry services, delivering high-quality care to our patients while providing strong leadership to the team. Package: Competitive salary of £45k-£50k per annum plus £5k discretionary bonus (flexibility for the right candidate) Full time permanent contract Chance to help grow a thriving well regarded business Support with further training / qualifications Friendly team Other great perks associated with the role Key Responsibilities Service Delivery: Oversee the delivery of podiatry services, ensuring efficient and effective patient care. Manage a complex caseload of patients while delegating and supporting the team. Team Leadership: Provide clear leadership and guidance to podiatrists, foot care assistants, and administrative staff. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment. Service Development: Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of podiatry services, implementing best practices and innovative approaches. Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to clinical governance and quality standards, participating in audits and implementing necessary improvements. People Management: Responsible for staff performance management, including appraisals, training, and development. Manage sickness absence and recruitment processes. Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, colleagues, and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely information sharing. Minimum Requirements: BSc (or equivalent) in Podiatry HCPC registration Minimum of 5 years experience as a podiatrist Proven leadership and management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organisational and time management abilities Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Experience in managing chronic and complex wounds Non-medical prescriber qualification or willingness to undertake Clinical Educator experience Experience in a community setting and care homes This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and dedicated podiatrist to make a significant impact on the lives of our patients.
