PRE SCHOOL ROOM LEADER. Kaleidoscope "Creating ever-changing patterns of play and learning through discovery, adventure, awe and wonder, laughter and friendships." We are looking for an inspirational Pre-School Room Leader who can bring magic to every story, light up the room with smiles and energy, and know just how to capture the attention of every 3 and 4-year-old in their room. Do you understand how to communicate effectively with preschool children to engage them in conversations to develop their language skills? Can you observe each individual child to find out what they need and how they learn and have the patience, care, and dedication to help each child reach their full potential? Do you have the experience to share your knowledge with other staff and motivate those around you to create an inspiring learning environment in which all children can flourish? You would be working with a wonderful team who are all driven to provide the very best start for children in our care. Minimum Qualifications: You will need to have a minimum of a full and relevant level 3 early years qualification. A current paediatric first aid qualification is desirable but not essential as training can be provided. RESPONSIBILITIES: The Pre School Room Leader will have oversight of their room, developing planning for their own key children and also supporting other practitioners within the room to ensure that all children have access to meaningful, developmentally appropriate, and engaging learning. We follow our own curriculum that meets all requirements of the EYFS. We have focused learning each week that provides play and learning opportunities about everyday life, the natural world, and focus on sensational stories and calm space activities. The Room Leader would be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in the room by ensuring that risk assessments are correctly carried out, that the room is maintained in a clean, tidy, and safe condition, and that children are supervised correctly within the room and outside areas. We use iConnect that links to the Parentzone app. This enables the nursery team and parents to share information about children's progress and their experiences in nursery. The Pre School Room Leader would be responsible for ensuring that this is kept up to date for their room, with full training provided. All posts are subject to reference and DBS checks. If this sounds like the opportunity that you are scrolling for, please contact us today and send us your CV.
