They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and management of civil engineering projects. This position requires a strong background in engineering principles, project management, and proficiency in various design software. The Senior Civil Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects while adhering to quality standards and regulations. Duties

Work within a Civil Engineering design team responsible for the design of drainage systems, highway layouts, and S278/S38 schemes. Utilise design software such as AutoCAD, Site 3D or other equivalent software. Conduct system design and analysis to ensure compliance with engineering standards. Prepare detailed engineering reports, specifications, and documentation. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate project execution. Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and interns. Ensure all designs are compliant with relevant legislation and safety standards. Participate in site inspections and assessments to monitor project progress. Requirements

Incorporated Engineer (IEng) [or working towards] with the Institution of Civil Engineers. A Degree or HND in Civil Engineering. 5+ years’ consultancy experience. Experience working with local authorities, developers and architects on civil engineering aspects of residential, commercial and retirement/care schemes. Varied experience working on schemes through the planning process; from pre-app through to condition discharge. Civil Engineering project management experience including projects combining drainage, external works, and highways elements.
