We are now looking to recruit a dynamic, creative, highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who has a demonstrable interest and experience of working with clients suffering with an eating disorder. You will receive regular professional and management supervision - as well as providing this to others - and will be supported to develop skills in this specialist area.
Main duties of the job
To gate-keep referrals into the Adult Eating Disorders Service liaising with referrers and providing advice and support as needed.
To ensure the effective assessment, care planning and review of patient care and treatment in line with the EPUT CPA policy and procedure.
To liaise with the provider collaborative regarding specialist out of area eating disorder placements and inpatient providers, when EPUT service users are admitted and to provide a link function for local services and carers.
To provide highly specialist evidence based interventions for clients with Eating Disorders, drawing on a wide range of theoretical frameworks and treatment modalities.

Person Specification Education/Qualifications
RMN or equivalent professional qualification
Qualification at degree level or equivalent
Evidence of continuing professional and personal development
Evidence of training and using an evidence-based NICE guideline intervention in clinical practice for Eating Disorders. (e.g SSCM, MANTRA, FBT)
Knowledge
In-depth knowledge of community mental health services
In-depth knowledge of wider policy and service issues relating to mental health
Extensive knowledge of the assessment and treatment of eating disorders
Knowledge of safeguarding issues and child protection requirements and how these apply to the role
