Purpose of the Role

As an Audit Manager specialising in Not-for-Profit, you will have a great opportunity to work with a wide variety of clients, as well as directly with a Partner/Director, to deliver a comprehensive, client focused service to a designated portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Maintaining a productive relationship with all clients in agreed portfolio, maintaining regular contact and completing all complex accounts work and tax issues.

Acting as point of contact for NFP Partner portfolio in the partner's absence ensuring that matters are dealt with in a timely manner.

Ensuring that appropriate information is fed to the compliance team to ensure that the teams work can be effectively scheduled allowing the assessment of resources and time requirements.

Monitoring the achievement of the chargeable units budget, ensuring work is completed within deadlines allocated.

Ensuring that all fee notes are generated and sent out in line with Partner and client requirement.

Ensuring work is conducted to correct standard and accounts preparation is accurate and meaningful for the type of industry.

Providing coaching, direction, support, feedback to more junior members of the team.

Skills and Experience

ACA/ACCA qualified.

Proven experience managing a diverse client portfolio, preferably with clients from the NFP sector.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

Experience leading and mentoring teams, with a track record of developing junior staff members.

Strong understanding of the NFP sector regulations and requirements.
