Senior Java Backend Developer

The role You will be part of a cross-functional team of talented developers working together to create the best Sports Betting experience in the world. We are looking for a backend developer to join us! Responsibilities as a backend developer in our team include developing microservices that serve our frontend with sports data, integrating 3rd party components, and providing APIs to build up the entire sports betting experience. The data follows the customer's path, from checking the odds, placing a bet, and cashing out. We are a cross-functional team, so working closely with frontend and native developers and UX is a natural part of the work. A developer in our team participates in all aspects of the work, from initial planning and setting up component architecture to maintaining our components and handling issues. Your expertise lies within Java development, but there will be opportunities to technically support your colleagues in other technical domains as well. You will be eager to take ownership and develop reliable, high-quality code. Occasional travel may be needed as our domain is spread across multiple locations with backend developers not only in Stockholm. We like to use: Java Microservices with SpringBoot Kafka/Solace Queue/RabbitMQ or similar Restful APIs and socket-based APIs Relational databases Docker and Kubernetes Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery Best development practices Agile and lean values Your experience: You have at least 5 years of experience working as a developer.
