community carer

to join our dedicated team and support families with sick children. Newtownards/Bangor area

Full time 42 hours per week

(may consider 2 staff part time 16/26 hours per week) About the role - As a community carer, you will: Deliver personalised care plans tailored to each child's medical and emotional needs. Assist with daily tasks, such as medication administration, feeding, hygiene and physical support. Work closely with families, health care professionals and support services to ensure continuity of care. Provide emotional support and create a nurturing environment for children and their families. Requirements: Proven experience in caring for children with medical needs, preferably in a home setting. Relevant qualifications in health care or childcare (e.g. NVQ level 2/3 Health & Social Care or equivalent). Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient approach.
