My client in East Finchley is seeking a nursery practitioner. You must be qualified to a minimum of a level 3 nursery practitioner qualification to apply. Responsibilities:

Supervise and support nursery staff in their roles, providing training, motivation, and maintaining correct staffing ratios. Implement policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements such as the Children’s Act 2004. Promote the nursery's aims and objectives while upholding high standards of care and education. Maintain a safe, attractive learning environment that caters to children's developmental needs. Lead by example in promoting good practice and professionalism within the team. Ensure staff training needs are identified and addressed promptly. Implement a key worker system to support individual children's progress. Represent the nursery at meetings related to child development and education. Uphold cleanliness, hygiene standards, health, and safety protocols within the nursery. Administer medication, first aid, special diets, and medical care as required. Manage administrative tasks including record-keeping, fee collection, staff rotas, and ordering supplies. Collaborate with external professionals such as social workers, teachers, doctors, and health visitors. Respect client confidentiality and promote diversity by valuing different cultures within the nursery community. Develop strong partnerships with parents to support their child's learning journey. Requirements:

Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent. Previous experience in childcare administration is desirable. Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Demonstrated leadership abilities to motivate and guide a team of childcare professionals. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Experience working with children across different age groups. Valid driver's license for school runs when necessary.
