Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facility and enhancing the patient experience. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures. Manage appointment scheduling, including booking, rescheduling, and cancelling appointments as necessary. Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and directing calls to appropriate staff members. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with data protection regulations. Process patient information, including insurance details and medical history, accurately and efficiently. Handle billing inquiries and assist patients with payment processes. Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care. Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining a tidy reception area. Skills Strong administrative skills with a keen attention to detail. Proficient in office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is preferred but not essential. Strong organizational skills to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks efficiently.
