Salary and Benefits for our Scrub Nurses:
Starting salary GBP33,384 - GBP41,312 depending on ophthalmology experience. Work-life balance shifts of 4 days a week starting 7.30 am to 5.30 pm and 1 in 4 Saturdays (overtime is available as and when required). 33 days holidays (includes bank holidays) increasing with length of service. Bonus 1 June potential to earn up to 5% individual performance-related bonus. Bonus 2 January potential to earn up to 5% hospital/company related bonus. NMC Pin paid for. Recommend a Friend Scheme (GBP350 reward for both you and your friend). Free Quarterly Snacks. Benefits discounts at a large selection of retailers/hospitality. Time in lieu scheme; if you go over your contracted hours, we will give you your time back (we want our staff to feel appreciated and valued). Free Annual Flu Vaccination. Paid DBS. Responsibilities:
Provide Scrub/ODP assistance and experience for clinical procedures. Assist the consultant and clinical team in the delivery of all ophthalmic care. Manage all the theatre equipment daily. Admission and discharge of patients on theatre days. Adhere to the principles of clinical governance and NMC or HCPC guidelines.
We are recruiting in Carlisle; however, travel to other sites will be required on occasion and for training.
