Main duties of the job

The care opportunities we offer are varied, from taking clients to medical appointments or helping them get up in the morning, to spending a full twelve hours assisting them throughout their day. Whatever you choose, you'll be there to look after that person's unique needs. It's crucial to build a connection with the people you're caring for, and you must be able to handle the physical aspects of the role. Experience in suctioning, enteral feeding, and medication administration is required. About us

Being a Sonderwell carer isn’t just about caring; it’s about being good with people, too – gaining the trust of clients and their families. If you have a caring personality and relevant experience, we’ll provide online and classroom training in specific complex care needs, as well as the chance to study for a relevant NVQ. You may work on your own or as part of a team, and you’ll have the chance to meet your client and their family before starting. Day-to-day support will be available from a Care Co-ordinator or Nurse Manager. You’ll also have access to our ‘Carer App’ for insights and information. What we can offer you

Relevant experience in complex care needs, with the opportunity to study for a relevant NVQ. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
