Answering phone lines. Scheduling, rescheduling, or cancelling appointments as needed. Preparing patients’ charts and daily schedules for the dental staff. Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures. Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing reminders. Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed. Performing general office duties, such as photocopying and filing. Requirements of you:
Experience working in a dental setting is desirable but not essential. Working knowledge of general administrative duties, performing such other tasks as reasonably requested by the Practice Manager or other senior team members. Good telephone etiquette. Exceptional organisational skills. Excellent customer service skills as the first point of contact for patients. High standard of personal presentation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Fully computerised practice (R4).
