About the Role The
Stakeholder Manager
will serve as the primary liaison between Pearson and key global funding agencies. You will play a critical role in fostering meaningful partnerships, securing funding through competitive bids, and ensuring our initiatives align with MDB objectives. Key Responsibilities Stakeholder Engagement Develop and sustain strong relationships with MDBs and funding agencies to enhance Pearson’s global presence. Facilitate seamless communication and collaboration between Pearson’s internal teams and external stakeholders. Bid Identification Conduct in-depth analysis of tenders, clients, partners, and competitors to identify strategic opportunities. Collect and leverage market intelligence through research, events, and business networks. Build and maintain operational partnerships that support business development goals. Proposal Development Lead the creation of persuasive, high-quality proposals tailored to MDB requirements. Track and analyze bid outcomes, incorporating feedback to improve future submissions. Evaluate successful and unsuccessful bids to refine Pearson’s competitive positioning. Strategic Alignment Align Pearson’s strategies with MDB priorities, policies, and emerging global trends. Identify new areas for collaboration and funding with MDBs through proactive engagement. Stay informed about the evolving landscape of development finance to position Pearson effectively. What We’re Looking For Experience: Minimum of 5 years in donor-funded projects, with a strong track record in securing funding through multilateral and bilateral bidding processes. Skills: Exceptional research, critical thinking, and proposal development skills, with an acute attention to detail. Knowledge: In-depth understanding of procurement processes for MDBs and donor-funded initiatives. Competencies: Strategic thinking, relationship management, adaptability, and collaboration. Tech Proficiency: Advanced MS Word and Excel skills for documentation and presentation. Global Outlook: Flexibility to travel and work effectively across diverse cultural contexts. Why Pearson?
