Working within a Multidisciplinary Team you will provide a high quality of service to children/young people and their families, ensuring their care, education and therapy needs are met. You will need to be a registered nurse, experience of working with children and young people with complex disabilities and complex health needs is desirable. With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation. The Childrens Trust

Job responsibilities

You will work as a Bank Registered Nurse to ensure the safe and effective delivery of a high standard of individualised care across a twenty-four hour period, in collaboration with the Multidisciplinary Team. You will work within a holistic model to ensure care, education & therapy needs are met twenty-four hours a day. Person Specification

Qualifications

Registered Nurse. Evidence of continuing professional development. Educated to degree level or equivalent experience. Experience

Previous experience of working with children/young people with disabilities and complex health needs. Skills & Abilities

Evidence of being able to communicate effectively within a nursing role. Demonstrates an understanding of the change process in a healthcare setting. Able to demonstrate a holistic approach to the care of children. Understands and has the ability to document concise and accurate records. Works within Professional Boundaries. Knowledge

Proficient user of Microsoft Office and Word. Understanding of responsibilities in line with safeguarding vulnerable children and their families. Personal Qualities

Commitment to the vision and values of The Childrens Trust. Flexible and can-do attitude to competing demands. Highly motivated and reliable. Ability to demonstrate resilience in a demanding environment. Disclosure and Barring Service Check

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions. Depending on experience £22.39 - £25.26 per hour and inclusive of London weighting.
