The ward aims to provide a high standard of care and is committed to continual service improvement within the specialty. The ward is a 22-bedded ward, and care is provided to patients receiving gynaecological and female surgery.
Some experience of working within a gynaecology setting would be an advantage, though this is not essential as full training and support will be provided.

The service includes working with Gynaecology and Surgical patients on a 22-bed ward. There is an early pregnancy assessment unit attached to the ward and also an emergency Gynaecology assessment unit that facilitates all emergency admissions. This post will provide an opportunity for a registered nurse to develop skills and knowledge in the three areas.
The Registered nurse will be provided with support to be a confident and competent practitioner who practices within the sphere of NMC and Trust guidelines.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
