We're looking for a Deputy Store Manager to join our team in Yeovil. Reporting to the Store Manager, you'll be a key part of our retail management team and take full responsibility for the store when the Store Manager is unavailable. You'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the store, from recruitment and stock control to maintaining high store standards and customer service. Your key responsibilities will include: Leading and inspiring your team to ensure a fun, productive, and customer-focused environment. Maximising sales and ensuring your team performs across all key KPIs. Managing store operations, including recruitment, stock management, and compliance with health and safety. Taking on the role of Duty Manager in the absence of the Store Manager. Being hands-on, driving the store's success by leading from the front. We provide industry-leading training and support, equipping you with everything you need to deliver exceptional customer service and help us become the Best Pet Care Business in the World. Who are we looking for? You have at least 1 year of management experience in a retail environment. Passionate about retail with a proven track record of delivering excellent results and maintaining high standards. Flexible to work a 7-day shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays. A strong team player with exceptional communication skills, able to engage and motivate your team. Ready to undertake 6 months of comprehensive training, covering everything from customer service and health & safety to pet care.
