We are seeking a talented Accidental Damage Fraud Investigator to join our client, a leading insurance and technology organisation based in Manchester. This role offers an exciting opportunity to protect the business and customers from fraud by investigating suspected fraudulent Accidental Damage claims. Salary: Up to GBP29,000 Location: Salford Quays, Manchester with hybrid working options (4 days from home, 1 day in the office) About the Company Our award-winning client offers market-leading motor insurance, underwriting, distribution, finance, technology, and legal services. The Role As an Accidental Damage Fraud Investigator, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of suspected organised or opportunistic accidental damage claims. This will involve conducting interviews, collaborating with internal colleagues and third-party suppliers, and working in a dynamic environment to make a significant impact. Key Responsibilities: Manage suspected accidental damage claims in compliance with company procedures and SLAs. Conduct telephone interviews with customers and engage external suppliers. Perform open source and desktop enquiries using various databases. Assess evidence and provide regular updates to all involved parties. Achieve agreed fraud KPIs and targets while ensuring compliance with company policies. Required Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience managing a caseload with adherence to SLAs. Strong understanding of FCA, Consumer Duty, and FOS. Excellent knowledge of the motor insurance industry. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Self-motivated with a proactive approach and positive attitude.
