We are looking for individuals with an interest in hepatology and liver disease and who may have an interest in ERCP but not essential. Qualifications
MRCP Certification of Completion of Specialist Training Accreditation in general internal medicine and gastroenterology Higher Degree Registration
On GMC registered Medical Practitioner GMC specialist registration or within 6 months of CCT Knowledge and Expertise
IT Skills and computer Literacy Experience in managing acute gastroenterology / general level II hepatology Skilled in clinical gastroenterology and endoscopic investigations NHS experience within the last 3 years Interest in the development of out-patient management of liver disease General ERCP skills and or delivery Experience in service redesign Teaching
Experience of teaching and training undergraduates, postgraduates and junior medical staff Management and Audit
Competent in medical audit An understanding of the Health Service agenda for the next 10 years and corporate governance Evidence of management training An understanding of techniques to improve efficiency and productivity of clinic processes Research/publications
Good track record of publications in gastroenterology / hepatology or a related field Evidence of active research with either record of winning grants or publishing peer-reviewed articles Evidence of giving successful presentations Language
