Site Manager

We have a great opportunity for a Construction Manager working with a fit-out contractor in Croydon on a project due to run for circa 16 weeks. The project is valued at circa 800k and is a fast track office fit out. You will be responsible for managing the site and will need to be quite an expert in logistics, including some external works. You will report to the Project Manager daily. While managing the site, you must maintain a high standard of health & safety while ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget. The project is working in a live environment, so experience liaising with the client and working around a live office is essential. The manager must be a programme pusher. The project will involve partitions, tea points, HVAC, lighting, and decorations. The ideal Site Manager must have: CAT A / B Fit Out experience Longevity in roles with some of the contractors in the industry Experience in delivering commercial fit outs Major experience in M+E Understanding of the floor plate of the building Knowledge of programmes and ability to handle minutes efficiently Experience successfully running fit out projects as a Site Manager on commercial projects Interpersonal skills to collaborate with the rest of the team SMSTS, First Aid, Fire Marshall, and Black Card/NVQ Level 6 certifications What's in it for you as the Site Manager on this project?
