The Digital Learning Designer Level 5 is a relatively new apprenticeship standard, which was only approved in May 2023, so it is unlikely that the successful candidate for this role will have apprenticeship experience for this standard. Instead, we are looking for someone with a passion for digital learning, the theory of how people learn and a desire to pass this knowledge on to a new generation of learning designers. This is an incredibly rewarding role as you will have the opportunity to help our learners complete their Level 5 Digital Learning Designer programme and achieve their career potential. You will support our apprentices to acquire and demonstrate the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed, as well as offer advice and guidance throughout their learning journey. The role will be predominantly remote with at least one day a month at our South London office. Further days at London-based client sites may also be required. Responsibilities include: Support your apprentices through the learning journey and deliver an outstanding learner experience through effective coaching and mentoring. Design and facilitate engaging and relevant apprentice training through group sessions including live sessions and in-person development days. Be involved in coordinating the training activities delivered in partnership with our employers and industry experts. Assess your apprentices' work and provide timely and developmental feedback. Manage your scheduled activities to ensure the timely achievement of learners. Comply with any quality procedures to ensure compliance and best practice. Build strong and lasting relationships with each of the apprentices and employers you support. Provide additional pastoral support for apprentices as required. For this role you must have the following: Experience in digital learning design theory and practice. Previous work experience in digital learning design, with a good working knowledge of either academic or commercial learning design projects. Experience in either teaching, coaching or education, and a keen interest in developing others. Ideally hold the Level 3 qualification in Education and Training or equivalent. The desire to learn and develop yourself, so that you can add value to the apprenticeship experience of our learners. Knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards and End Point Assessments would be desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships. Strong organisation skills, with the ability to deliver to deadlines and prioritise effectively. Good IT skills, ability to use MS Office, Learner Management Systems, Salesforce etc. Being a member of the Association of Learning Technologist, holding ACMALT or CMALT accreditation are advantageous, but not essential.
