We are seeking a dedicated Dental Receptionist to join our well-established, fully private dental practice in the heart of Gerrards Cross. The ideal candidate will be a friendly first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role is crucial for ensuring a smooth patient experience and maintaining efficient office operations.
Duties
Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the practice and assist them with check-in procedures.
Manage appointment scheduling, including booking, rescheduling, and confirming patient appointments.
Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and providing information about services offered.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic filing systems.
Process patient payments and handle insurance claims efficiently.
Assist with administrative tasks such as ordering supplies and managing correspondence.
Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming at all times.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
Key Skills
Previous experience in a dental administrative role, preferably using the Software of Excellence (SOE) system.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with patients and staff.
A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
