Provide highly-skilled systemic interventions for the families of young people with severe, complex and persistent mental health problems, learning difficulties and/or developmental problems. Provide in-depth risk-assessments of young people who are at risk to themselves and to be able to formulate both short-term and long-term crisis planning. Manage a complex caseload as the family therapist working within a multidisciplinary team. Regularly monitor clinical progress through reviews of systemic treatment. Successfully contribute to developments within the Therapies Team and wider service. Requirements:
Completed a qualifying course in Systemic Psychotherapy at Master’s or doctorate level, accredited by the AFT. All applications must have a formal Family Therapist qualification. Registration with UKCP. Experience working with adolescents and their families presenting with complex mental health needs.
