Coulter Elite Resourcing is currently looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to work with one of their well-established and very successful clients in South London.
Principal Responsibilities for the Senior Electrical Design Engineer:
Implement company procedures and policies, ensuring compliance across all projects.
Carry out electrical design and project management for various projects in line with company aims and policies.
Manage and mentor junior staff, providing electrical engineering support to all team members.
Liaise with clients, attend meetings, and maintain strong client relationships to ensure project success.
Oversee financial aspects of projects, including fee assessments and providing fee bids as directed.
Person Specification:
Proven experience in electrical design engineering, with a strong background in project management of multi-disciplinary projects.
Knowledge of current Building Regulations, especially energy-related controls, and familiarity with CIBSE Guides, IEE Regulations, CDM Regulations, and British Standards.
Experience working in a consultancy or for a large contractor in a design capacity.
Proficient in CAD, Revit/BIM, and the production of design calculations, drawings, and tender packages.
Qualified to at least HNC or Degree Level, with strong computer skills including AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.
This is a full-time permanent Senior Electrical Design Engineer position, offering an annual salary of 55,000 - 60,000 plus annual company benefits including 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, pension scheme, discount scheme on all company products, and free car parking.
