This role will be responsible for helping to expand and integrate the firm’s health and well-being programmes across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, while collaborating with other firm verticals, affinity groups, committees, and practice groups on projects to support mental health and well-being. This role will be located in our London office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence. Other key responsibilities include: Working closely with the Director of Well-Being & Benefits on the continuing development of the firm’s health and well-being strategy, particularly around mental health. Taking a leading, high-profile role in creating and delivering mental health trainings — including, but not limited to, bespoke sessions for partners, counsel, and associates, as well as staff managers and supervisors — and developing a deep understanding of the experiences of Latham lawyers, paralegals, and business services staff to create programmes targeted to their needs. Partnering with both internal and external well-being experts around the world to create customised training and support programmes, taking a hands-on role in building, leading, and project managing key programmes and campaigns. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key members of firm administration, including office leadership, to identify well-being needs, strategies, and opportunities, and assisting local offices in developing and implementing their own regional programmes. Developing relationships with well-being contacts across the globe, both within and outside the firm, and seeking networking opportunities within the legal, professional services, and well-being markets. We’d love to hear from you if you: Display excellent leadership and self-starting skills (e.g. organising, planning, problem-solving, decision-making, and motivating) necessary for effective management and independent working. Demonstrate excellent presentation and public-speaking skills. Possess excellent project management skills. And have: Experience in the mental health field. A bachelor’s degree and specialised or advanced behavioural health training. Progressively responsible experience in training and development, mental health, corporate health and well-being, or project management, or other relevant experience. Significant experience designing, presenting, and/or supporting live training programmes, as well as public speaking, preferably. Supervisory experience, preferably. Legal or professional services industry experience, preferably.
